Former Club Chaplin, Rev. Mike Pusey, was awarded a Hampshire FA Service to Football Award at the Hampshire FA Grassroots Football Awards evening on Saturday night.
The awards recognise and celebrate the people and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to grassroots football in Hampshire as nominated by their grassroots workforce and communities, or due to their length of service.
The Hampshire FA Service to Football Award that Mike won recognises 25 years’ continuous or aggregated voluntary service to the county and each winner is nominated by their Local Divisional Football Association.
Despite Mike’s recent retirement from his Club duties, he remains a popular figure around the EBB Stadium, and we’d all like to pass on our congratulations to him for the award and recognition of his service to our Football Club!
