We’re pleased to confirm that the Club has triggered an option on Cameron Hargreaves’ contract, extending his stay with the Shots until the summer of 2026!
Hargreaves joined the Shots ahead of the 24/25 season and has already made 52 appearances for the Shots before the end of his first season!
The midfielder has also chipped in with five goals as he’s quickly become a key part of Tommy Widdrington’s side.
On extending his stay with the Shots, Hargreaves said: “Really enjoyed my first season with the Shots and I’m delighted to be staying on.”
“The support this year—both for me personally and the team—has been amazing, and last Saturday was something special! Thank you!”
“Looking forward to finishing the season strong and, hopefully, a great day out at Wembley. UTS!”
Tommy Widdrington added: “Cameron is a lad I also worked with before I came to Aldershot and knew he’d fit in seamlessly so was delighted to capture his signature last summer.”
“His all round game in the heart of the engine room has been excellent and he fits well indeed compliments those around him.”
“To know he’ll be part of the growing group committed for another season at least is excellent news for us at Aldershot Town.”
Here’s to another year, Cammy!
