We’re delighted to confirm that Kwame Thomas has returned to the Shots on a loan deal from Ebbsfleet United until the end of the season!
The striker spent the 23/24 season with the Shots, scoring some important goals in his 48 appearances, including a last-minute winner at home to Dagenham & Redbridge, a last-minute equaliser away to Wealdstone and match-winners against FC Halifax Town, Gateshead and Barnet.
The 29-year-old has spent the 24/25 season at Ebbsfleet United, scoring twice in 28 games and featured in the 3-3 draw at the EBB Stadium on Saturday.
Thomas is a former England youth international and has made his senior international debut for St Kitts & Nevis during his last spell at the EBB Stadium.
Tommy Widdrington said: “We’re really pleased (to have Kwame Thomas back). When we found out he was available after the weekend, we felt it was a slightly different tool to what we’ve got.”
“He was very effective for us last season whether he was starting games or coming off the bench. He’s not going to take a lot of time to settle in with us because he knows us as staff and he knows the majority of the group.”
“I’m really pleased that Kwame’s chosen us as he had other options in the division and he’ll be with us for the rest of the season.
Welcome back to the Shots, Kwame!
